Here at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast, the crocuses have popped, yes, the daffodils (at least the early ones) re blooming,the trees are budding, the sun is shinning and the deer, turkey's, squirrels and a host of other mammals are running through the woods. Spring time is upon us, Life is good!

Here at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast, here's some suggestions for you to do today. You can hit the Antique Mall and see all you grandparents old stuff. Visit the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, their current exhibition is Artfully Adorned: the Japanese Kimono, from painting and stenciling to embroidery and brocade, see close-up these remarkable works of fashion that are also breathtaking works of art. Then you can head to the The Holland Museum it's located at 31 W. 10th Street in downtown Holland, an awesome place to spend a few Hours! The current exhibit is ARCHIPELAGO: Indigenous Art of Indonesia & Melanesia.
Take a long walk along the beach and wonder at smile at the greatness of the big pond, we have a resident Bald Eagle and it's pretty easy to spot if you take a hike along the lake, he or she does fly by's. There are some winter birds on the water too, such as Greater and Lesser Scaup, Common Goldeneye and Oldsquaws, and a few Loons to boot, which inhabit Lake Michigan’s near and offshore waters.
Why not visit the Saugatuck Dunes State Park and take a long walk through the woods, it will be just beautiful. The trees are just beginning to bud. Take a walk along the lakeshore, have lunch at the Elbow Room on Holland Street, beautiful little joint on the river.
It's such an awesome day, why not head over to Mermaid Bar and Grill on the river in Saugatuck and have a sandwich outside while your lazing the day away
