Good Morning Douglas and Saugatuck, Michigan. Another great day of summer ahead of us today here is West Michgian! We had some great rain last night, close to three inches, the creek in the backyard is flowing like a river. The temperature will be 80 degrees today , slight chance of rain, should be an awesome beach day. The rest of the week is going to be sunny and warm, great for all those outdoor activities you have planned, hiking, swimming, picnic's and of course sunsets. Yes friends, the summer is here to stay.
Looking for something to do, here are a few suggestions...
Peter Mulvey at the Saugatuck center for the Arts, 8:00 p.m.
Pick Blueberries at Krupa's on Blue star Highway
Join professional puppeteers Larry Basgall and Michael Schwabe who will share the history of puppetry and show students a variety of puppet styles. Students will make their own 3-dimensional creations and learn about puppet theatre and how to put on their own performances for family and friends, anyone and everyone is invited.
Breakfast this morning is cheese and potato egg bake, chocolate zucchini nut bread, fresh fruit salad and of course Italian Espresso organic coffee (yes-free trade too).
Oh yeah, you might want to check out one of our picnic baskets...
Sherwood Forest Picnic Baskets
Venture forth from Sherwood Forest with your own basket of goodies this summer. The picnic includes a fine selection of Italian meats, cheeses, and baguettes, along with fresh fruit and sweets to make your afternoon rendezvous complete. To wet your whistle, choose from spritzers or bottled water (vegetarian selection also available)
Have a great day my friends.
