Good Morning Douglas and Saugatuck, Michigan It looks like another beautiful day here at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast. Mostly sunny in West Michigan mid to high 70's. Perfect beach day and the big pond is just waiting for you to take a dip. 

What's happening in the area for today..

We saw Pump Boys and Dinettes at the Mason Street Warehouse at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts last night, great show!!, really entertaining and the cast was great. One of the lead cast, Carrie Tillis, a country singer was signing CD's after the show, her voice was amazing and we support indie music so we purchased one and she was delighted to sign it. We highly recommend it so if your in the area head over to the SCA and grab a couple of tickets.

It's monday so the Green market at the Saugatuck center for the Arts is open from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, they have loads of locally grown produce, baked breads, foods & floral. Another great stop while your here.

If your looking for one of the best burgers in town, try Phil's Grill in Saugatuck, there's a movie marquis outside (looks like a movie theatre but it's not), good point of reference when your in town, cool joint, like to think of it as the local cheers. They have brown craft paper on the table with crayons, you can wake up the artist in you or play a mean game of hangman.

Breakfast this morning at Sherwood Forest Bed and Breakfast is Cinnamon Orange French Toast with canadian bacon, Fresh fruit salad, banana chocolate chip bread and of course Italian Espresso organic coffee (yes-free trade too)
